Alhamdulillah, a short visit to the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Tecnological University, Singapore has been carried out on July 21-24, 2024. This visit is part of the World Class Professor (WCP)-Like Program 2024 activities funded by Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Thank you to Prof. Berinderjeet Kaur for receiving and facilitating this visit.
Prof. Kaur is the professor at NIE, a world-class professor with a lot of work and experience. We are very fortunate to be able to learn from her.
From this short visit, we learned many things. Starting from the role of NIE as the only mathematics and science teacher in Singapore, the international role as one of the world’s best mathematics education research centers, located in Southeast Asia, and various other roles.
Of course, there are many other things that can be used as examples for mathematics learning in Indonesia. But that’s all for now.
Hopefully this cooperation will continue not only for the short term, but for many years to come. Once again, thank you to Prof. Kaur for all your help.
