The achievement of UPI FPMIPA students at the international level is increasing. This time, students of the UPI FPMIPA Department of Mathematics represented by Sulfia Ummah Sholeha received the Best Oral Presentation Award For Session: Electrical Engineering II at the 5th International Symposium On Technology For Sustainability (ISTS) held on August 4-5, 2015 at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Malaysia.
Sulfia Ummah Sholeha presented the scientific paper at an oral presentation session titled “Effectiveness of CAESAR Machine to Increase Ability to Enumerate Numbers of Children with Moderate Intelectual Disability Class IX in SPLB-C YPLB Cipaganti Bandung”. The paper is the result of research written in together with Raden Muhammad Hadi (Ministry of Mathematics), Indra Hardiyana (Ministry of Mathematics), and Wulan Yulian (Ministry of Special Education). In his presentation, Sulfia Ummah Sholeha told about the influence of caesar machine learning media (penCAcah, Effective, and precise saSARan) on the ability to cut numbers 1-10 in children who are in grade IX at SPLB-C YPLB Cipaganti Bandung. Sulfia Ummah Sholeha said, through caesar machine learning media, there is an increase in the ability to cut the number 1-10 in tunagrahita children in grade IX at SPLB-C YPLB Cipaganti Bandung.

ISTS is an international forum that aims to enhance interdisciplinary interaction, dialogue, and collaboration among students and their educators. In addition, ISTS provides opportunities for students around the world to present and exchange their research, as well as the development of innovative ideas. ISTS 2015 was followed by several countries in the world, including Japan, Hongkong, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. ISTS 2015 was organized by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in cooperation with the National Institute of Technology, Japan; Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan; and Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan. The international nature of symposiums in ISTS provides an opportunity to communicate with students from around the world and make them aware of the differences between educational practices followed in different countries.
