>> Community Service (PPM) BEM Himatika ‘Identika’ UPI 2022

This year, the BEM Himatika Identika UPI 2022 Social and Political division held Community Service (PPM) 2022. This activity has the theme: “Moving Together to Build Community Awareness as a Form of Service” and was carried out offline on August 14-18, 2022.

On the 1st day of PPM 2022 activities, namely on Sunday, August 14, 2022 we held an opening activity at SDN Legok Pego, Drawati Village, Paseh District which was attended by several village officials and students representing the PPM 2022 committee. This activity took place from 13.14 to 14.05. During this opening activity, BEM formalized that PPM 2022 would take place by cutting the ribbon by one of the representatives from the village and the committee. On the 2nd and 3rd day of PPM 2022 (August 15-16, 2022), Himatika Teaching activities were held. At the event, BEM conducted literacy reading activities, math games, and tests with the children in the village. In addition, there were also other activities held, such as socialization of the importance of education at SDN Legok Pego, socialization of dental health, oral health, and hand hygiene, gotong royong with residents and making road signs, and 17 Agustusan competitions.

Then, on August 24, 2022, a Teacher Seminar was held at the Paseh District Education Office Hall. The event was attended by lecturers from the Department of Mathematics Education and participants, namely elementary school teachers in the Paseh District. The purpose of the Teacher Seminar is for teachers to better understand and know the application of the independent curriculum at the elementary school level, and to guide teachers to be able to design an independent curriculum at the elementary school level. The materials to be discussed in this Teacher Seminar – Community Service activity is as follows.
1. Definition of the independent curriculum at the elementary school level;
2. Designing an independent curriculum at the elementary school level;
3. An example of implementing an independent curriculum at the elementary school level.
