On Wednesday, February 6, 2013, the Department of Mathematics Education of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia again received a visit from MGMP Mathematics Junior High School Tangerang. Junior High School Mathematics teachers who are incorporated in MGMP Tangerang aim to participate in it-based Props Manufacturing and Use Training. This is the second time the Mathematics Education Department of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia received a visit from MGMP Mathematics Junior High School Tangerang after in 2009 made a similar visit.
The event began with a speech from the representative of the head of the Department of Mathematics Education, namely the Head of the Mathematics Education Program, Dr. H. Dadang Juandi, M.Si.. The event was followed by a presentation on the concept of props by Dra. Hj. Ade Rohayati, M.Pd. followed by a presentation on the theory and practice of electronic props by Dra. Hj. Rini Marwati, M.Si.
After a prayer and meal break, the event is continued with a workshop, the trainees are welcome to try themselves to do various ways of making and using IT-based props such as what has been exemplified first.
