MaG-D (Mathematic Analysis & Geometry Day) is again held. MaG-D 2018 is the 11th title. MaG-D is an annual activity of the Analytical and Geometry Expertise Group, FMIPA ITB which is filled with mathematics competitions as well as public lectures. At the 11th MaG-D, the Department of Mathematics Education sent five teams to participate in the Analysis and Geometry Problem Solving Competition which was attended on Friday 20 April 2018 and Saturday 21 April 2018 at crcs ITB Building.
Problem Solving CompetitionAnalysis and Geometry, divided into three stages. The first day of stage one and closed with the announcement that passed to the next stage, held at 13:00 on 20 April 2018. Then the second phase of the allowance was held the next day on April 21, 2018. While 10 teams of participants who passed through the selection stage again to be taken 5 best teams, other participants attended a public lecture by Prof. Iwan Pranoto and Dr. Denny Ivanal Hakim.
In addition to the Analysis and Geometry Problem Solving Competition, there is another category that is Problem Solving Contest. For Syembara Problem Solving, the problem has been circulated at the web address: www.math.itb.ac.id since April 2, 2018. Completion is submitted no later than Monday 16 April 2018.
Three participants from the Ministry of Mathematics Education received individual awards, Nabil Mahatir received Silver, while Maisuri Pratiwi and Indri Juwita Sari received Bronze.
